3 Fitness Tips
- Don't Forget to Lift Heavy. Don't just increase repetitions. Every single person needs resistance training days in order to improve strength and bone health. No matter your age or gender, you can greatly benefit from resistance training.
- Sleep! It's not for the weak. Aim to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep per night. Sleep is required in order for your body and muscles to properly repair.
- Start Your Day with a Healthy Meal. Be sure to eat a healthy breakfast and avoid binge meals at the end of your day. Eat smaller portions and adjust your calories according to your needs on that day. 3 hour workout? Then enjoy the extra piece of cake--you earned it! Sit on the couch watching Friends reruns all day? Then, you might want to reconsider that massive bowl of ice cream with the hot fudge and sprinkles.
